Downgraded from 2.2.1 to 1.0

I was wondering if this could be done. I'm gonna try it on my test phone.

I have all the firmwares but always wondered if I could go back.
I have been successful many times going from 2.x firmware back to 1.1.4 but did not know if I could go to 1.0 just because.

What moden firmware is on your phone? Is there an issue with that?
