For those who were attempting to downgrade to Mojave from Catalina due to some "issues with iTunes library"... could you please elaborate a little on what specific iTunes issues were encountered with Catalina.

I have 4000+ movies and use iTunes on a dedicated Mac as a media server (via Home Sharing) and I'm scared to update that machine to Catalina. In fact, I'm scared to update any of my machines to Catalina.

In particular, I'm worried that the new dedicated TV (or whatever it's called) application was "thoroughly" tested with a library containing like 10 movies and that it would totally soil its diapers with my gigantic library.

[Feel free to direct me to another pertinent thread that covers the iTunes library issues you encountered.]

If you are insistent on staying with Mojave, follow the steps I already sent you.
Looks like you deleted your Data volume, which is good.
You now need to proceed with deleting the Recovery volume and do an upgrade install of Mojave over itself.
I did it! (I'mp pretty sure I did).

Is there a way to confirm I have the latest Security update installed?
