iPhone Downgrading 6.0 to 5.1.1 without previous SHSH blobs??

No, you can never restore to any firmware version that you dont have shsh blobs for.
NEVER.
If you have blobs for 4.3.5 you can downgrade to that or 6.0.1
No other options.
Downgrade what and to what version?

hi everyone. i just bought an factory unlocked iphone 4 and the guy i bought it from upgraded to iOS 6.0.1. He has never jailbroken it he said. Is there a way I can downgrade to 5.1.1 in this situation. If so, please let me know, this is a completely nightmare. Why do people upgrade!

No.
If it was never JB and good chances are he never saved previous shsh blobs then there is no way to downgrade it to older firmware besides the latest 6.0.1
Download tinyumbrella, go to advanced and select request shsh from cydia.
Plug in your iphone and hit save shsh at the top right corner of the program.
You can only restore to the versions that will be listed on the "all saved shsh's".
Hi All, I had a similar question. I currently have a JB iphone 4 running IOS 5.0.1 and I want to upgrade to 5.1. At the top of my Cydia page it says all the SHSH's from ios 4.2.6 all the way to 6.0.1 (including 5.1). Do I have the necessary SHSH blobs to upgrade to 5.1?
so I don't know how far off I am with this, but isn't part of the reason you need the SHSH blobs because you cannot do the simple itunes downgrade now? (which, to my knowledge, came with itunes 11)...so couldn't you downgrade to an earlier version of itunes, where you didn't need an internet connection to alt-click-restore, and just downgrade the device from there?

Ya I really want to downgrade back to 6.0. This may sound dumb, but is there a way to hack the software and restore to 6.0 on iPhone 5?
Can't you get the blobs from someone who has the same iphone model or is there some specific reason you need to get it yourself?
It's called a Jailbreak .
Device specific, otherwise everybody would do it and it wouldn't be a problem...
I made the huge mistake of updating my Ipod Touch 4 to the iOS 6.0.1. I read everything and I realized that it's impossible to go back to the iOS 5.1.1 if I don't have SHSH blobs, right?
But I remembered that over a year ago, around september or october 2011, I suppose, I had my device jailbroken. I don't remember what iOS it was running back then, but is it possible that I can downgrade to that version? Even without knowing which one? How?
If yes, can I go on iTunes and restore it to 5.1.1 by using the "Shift" button?
I would be very happy just to be able to downgrade it, no matter to what iOS, because I can't even use it at the moment, none of my apps open!

If TinyUmbrella says that Cyida has saved my SHSH blobs for 4.x.x iOS, then what is my next step to downgrade my iTouch 4th gen from 6.0.1? I have redsn0w but its not clear to me how I get the blobs from Cydia. I do what the program says but when it gets to "waiting for reboot" it hangs there while my device has rebooted to 6.0.1. What am I missing?

Unless you have SHSH blobs saved, you cannot downgrade. Simple as that unfortunately.
I had gotten a replacement iPhone 4 not so long ago my phone had got this screen problem. So I decided to see if that phone that could be downgraded from iOS6 to 5.1.1 with no SHSH Blobs and wow to my surprise I was able to downgrade it lol I think some phones are able to be downgraded but not all, also when I downgraded it I checked to see if I could save the blobs from the new phone and yes I was able to do it.
Replacements are refurbished phones, so it is possible that some previous owner had the SHSH's saved.
