iPhone Download Emphasize for free instead of paying for Accentify

Another myth propagated by people trying to rationalize piracy. People who can afford an iPhone and a monthly data plan, can afford tweaks.

You'll note that my original post refers to iDevices, not just iPhones. Aside from that, I know plenty of people who have received iPhones or iTouches or iPads etc as gifts. I don't really see your point anyway, since I never mentioned anything about piracy in the first place and you assumed that my post was rationalization for it anyway. Emphasize is a free tweak to begin with. No one has said anything here about pirating its paid counterpart version, Accentify.

Sure, but those aren't the only people in the world who own iDevices, which is why my original point still stands.

I repeat my question from above. Are you saying that all jailbroken tweaks/apps should NOT be free, but should be paid only?

'all' and 'only'?

Whether a tweak/app is free is the decision of the author. If they decide to charge for it, then it's the consumer's decision to decide to buy it.

Can anyone else not get safari to work?? When you enter the bookmarks the buttons at the bottom change colour but the header stays standard grey, ipad3, have resprung but no help

Emphasize doesn't color the header for Safari. Accentify does, however it's a different shade than the footer color.

That's intentional to differentiate between normal and private browsing. (Because private browsing changes safari colors to black.)

Edit: But like MadtahRiz said, Accentify does change the color. If its important to you, buy accentify because Emphasize will no longer receive updates.

Anyone try either of these, then have issues ager removing? I tried both on my ipad mini, now after uninstalling because neither would change Safari I get odd text colors in App Store:

Did you reset the colors back to default before uninstalling? You could also try deleting the leftover plist files to see if they're causing issues.

FYI, the latest version of Accentify completely changes safari now.

Yeah, I did. I even tried reinstalling after the update and resetting the colors again, do you know here the plist is at tht nc an try deleting? Thanks

They're located in var>mobile>library>preferences and/or var>mobile>library>caches.

Go to those two directories and delete all files associated with the two tweaks. You can also use iCleaner to remove preference files. That feature is found under the "Plus" tab. Not sure that looks in both folders though. I think iCleaner only looks in the presences folder (which makes sense given the name lol). But sometimes leftover files are in that caches folder as well. Good luck. Let me know how you make out.
