This app has great reviews, but what's the deal with it reading your contact info and sending it to the company. Does this concern anyone here that has downloaded it?
Vlingo is free and works great
The info's sent to their speech processing servers so that the cloud can better recognize any names and proper nouns you may be referencing. It's never touched or seen by a person.
that one looks good (ratings aren't that great though)... how's the txt to speach recognition on vlingo? downloaded both apps and will give them both a try.....
Wonder if Dragon can afford to keep the service free or if they'll start charging on a per-use basis or something of the like.
It's not bad and worth it for the price (free) but I found using ShapeWriter is still the fastest way for long writing pieces.
They ought to put an in-app disclaimer and let you reject this, but it's probably not really a big concern for most people.
I am dictating this review I will get this of five stars is quite accurate as you can read I hope the only feature that I would like you to have would be the ability for self correction and to add more technical jargon is this program could learn and adapt based on corrections it would be amazing I swear this text is an edited as a spoke it
you guys are right...just down loaded and used it...awsum...I wish you could use it with a bluetooth earpiece ...
Once you're done recording the voice, is it necessary to click on how to use the text? In other words do you have to touch the screen to have it applied to e-mail as opposed to a text msg? Thanks!
