Looks nice.

Why is your power cable black?

It looks like you placed it in a hidden corner?
Are you planning to hide the cables somehow or are you gonna just leave them hanging?

Thanks, the power cable is black because the mini is from the united states so the white one doesn't fit in our sockets here in Sweden. :D

Yes, it's in a hidden corner, next to the power and ethernet socket. I'm thinking of getting some thicker washers so i can route the cables behind the mini, i think that it will look better. :)

yes lift the mini off the wall via washers it will help the wire routing and it will drop temps a few degrees.

Hey everyone, i had a crazy idea. Is it possible to drill the bottom case of the mac mini? If i were to screw the mac mini bottom to the wall and then attach the mini to the bottom, would the screws clear the internals?

Thanks, Marvin.

Why don't you just get a wall mount and call it a day? That way you don't have to drill into any part of your Mac mini?

Looking at this picture, I don't see how raising the bottom away from the wall would have any affect on temp. It seems by pointing the back upwards like he's done will give him the only heat advantage he'll need.

HE would increase convection currents if that black plate is 1/2 inch off wall rather then flush. but I could be wrong the only way to know for sure is to test it both ways.
