My daughter dropped a penny sized drop of hand sanitizer on the bottom right of my iPad and I was wondering it will effect the touchscreen or oleophobic coating or something?

Don't do a thing!
Leave the sanitizer right where it is and check with several forums about what you should do. Try to blog about the HanSan incident on your own sites to get more information.

If you do wipe it off then monitor the iphone very carefully and wite posts about your experience and how you feel it may be affecting your wifi signal or somehting.

Because we all are so very concerned that you spilled a drop of schmutz on your iPad. Really.
