Does this have the SSD drive or the standard 80GB drive? If it was the standard, that is awsome that it did not hurt the drive!

If it was the SSD... that is to be expected but still great that it did no other damage to the rest of the machine.

Glad to know it is sturdy... mine should be getting here next week!

The MacBook Air, like all Apple laptops made in the last couple of years, have sudden motion sensor, which parks the HD drive head in case of free fall or sudden G force changes.
