Dual 3GHz Mac Pro - Options?

It's arrived, and I'll have to come clean - it's sitting in my house

After researching the Mac Pro I discovered just how much I needed a Mac Pro myself

Another was ordered for the office.

Initial impressions are positive but for one thing - the hard drive is extremely 'clicky'. Horrible, horrible, horrible(!!) and definitely to be changed.

Anyway, some benchmarks:

dunno about ram out in UK, different retailers than USA.

i remember seeing a thread here on that. if you can find it gluck. but... best bet is posting a new topic. with header. cheap mac pro ram in UK???

I purchased 2GB direct from Apple so that should be fine for now. At least until the prices come down
