It sounds like this is largely about having Logic on two computers and making sure that the two computers have the same Logic presets, templates and project data. I don't have a problem doing this on a small scale, and it is surely commonly accomplished in professional settings in which people are working on things like film/video scores. I'd be inclined to talk with people in the business, or at least raise the question on the Logic Pro forum and maybe Gearslutz.
There are no doubt weird and wonderful ways to do this (some of this discussion got me thinking about Git), but I suspect that the solution is pretty simple if there is some reason why doing it manually is problematic. I mean, we're talking about two computers, not an army of them manned by a dozen people.
