What a hunk of crap. I'm glad it's free. I didn't even pay anything for it and I feel ripped off. All I get is green, blobby haze when I try to look at St. Louis.

it's not that good, i'm glad i didn't pay for it. it's very slow to render the images (and this is on wifi), no search function, no bookmarking. the default maps application on the phone is alot better.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

Yeah this app is crap. No images are displayed even on wifi. Glad I didn't pay for it.

Agree

I agree, just deleted it. Takes forever to render with WIFI, Imagine what happens with any other connection!......Good idea, bad execution

A completely useless app. The rendering even on wifi is unbelievably slow, and it doesn't seem to have a world outside of the US.

I deleted it.

Thanks for the tip. Downloading.

Ouch, it is pretty slow. But it's not bad. I'll keep it (at least on iTunes) just in case they release updates that speed it up :).

I love the app. Sure, there are issues with loading, but a brilliant first effort. Thanks guys and really looking forward to the updates!

no comparison to google earth. With this one you can only go as far as say 1 mile up, after that its super blurry. DELETED!

Seems to get itself stuck with blurry images. I tried it a second time at work over 3G and it was impossibly slow. I even put the phone down for a while, the internet access icon spinning, and checked several times and it was still a blur. They had an issue like that at launch where it would fail to load, but I thought they fixed that in an update.

Basically useless. It has good resolution, but what's the point if it takes 10 minutes or never fully loads.

It was very slow on my wifi but still a somewhat interesting app. I like how easily it transitions from the flickr pages back to the globe browser and also the wiki links it takes you to when you tap the city names.

Still, non of the pictures it showed me were of scenery or landmarks, which is what I had been expecting, and all were just random snaps of peoples kids and stuff. Also, can a brother get a tutorial? A help file maybe? I could not figure out what those icons meant for the life of me.
