ebay Bait and Switch with MacBook Air Rev B.

I too got the 120gb rev. B off ebay for $1300 (after M$ cashback). I live in California and received my MBA from Michigan within 24 hours of placing the BIN order on eBay. I paid $50 for overnight delivery on a Saturday, because I'm leaving the country on the following day.
Like your wonderful experience with ebay seller, this kind of personal attention (such as my need to get it overnight on Saturday) is uniquely eBay. If you're careful with who you buy from, eBay is a great place to buy Macs, especially with the cash incentives from uncle Bill.

Just an update...

Seller has just shipped my Macbook Air UPS 2nd Day air. Inside the box, there is a label for return shipping. He was also going to credit my paypal account $100 for all the trouble. I told him to not do that, as I understand that mistakes do happen, along with the fact that he has had to incur so much extra expense with the added shipping costs.

Looks like this story is going to have a very happy ending.

I received my Macbook Air 1.6/120 yesterday. It looks brand new. The warranty started January 19, 2009. Oh, well... that's ok!

I want to thank everyone who responded with your comments and advice. I was really concerned at first, and you all helped to put me at ease. As it turned out, the seller was a great guy, and went the extra mile to make things right. I was leery about ebay, and still am to a certain extent, but I will buy from ebay again, so long as the seller has a stellar track record as this one did.

Well, I have been taken (well hopefully not, but time will tell). I purchased a MacBook Air Rev B (1.6ghz / 120gb) on ebay with paypal, and received a Rev A in the mail in a Rev B box. First thing I did when it came today was to check the serial number on the box and then boot the comp/...................

Hello, i also want to buy a MB, probably ill have to do that through ebay (I live outside US, and here MB's are REAL expensive..). Could You please PM me with this seller's ebay store, because it seem's like he's a responsible seller after making up for that mistake. Id be really thankfull.
