Oh common. Seriously, how far can we take this. I suppose that if someone sells me stock and the price goes up, I should offer to give it back to them? If not, would that also be considered taking advantage of them? It's not the OP fault that the girl had no idea how to use her iPod.

Threads like this always amuse me at some old fart complaining about the darn kids these days on their lawn, but it's not a bunch of old farts this time.

Just because some people are easier off than you doesn't mean they don't appreciate it. In the same vein as dukebound85's profound thought, just try and focus on their personality instead of their wealth.

It's rather interesting how the less fortunate judge on wealth, too.
