El Capitan Performance on Mid 2007 iMac

I didn’t have to do anything. It just installed and runs. It’s a mid 2007 24” iMac.

I recently tried the same thing with an iMac8,1 (early 2008). It's rather amazing how much life is still left in an almost 10 year old Mac once you upgrade it to 4 gigs of ram and install 10.11. now it's a surprisingly usable machine for most daily stuff (surfing, youtube, netflix, libreoffice, ...).
