On 13.1 Edison mail is broken for me too. No notifications, no sounds, no badge counters. Need to open up the app to refresh and receive emails.

Has anyone uninstalled and reinstalled the app? Did it fix the issue?

I'm not sure this would help me because (1) I think our corporate email will only work with the native Mail app and (2) the real problem (or problems, plural) seems to be independent of which mail app is being used, but just in case: does anyone have recommendations for mail apps that aren't subject to the problems discussed above?

Outlook also works well. I have it on my company phone for exchange mails and they come through without issue.

I tried out a bunch of different email apps yesterday. Most had the same issues as Edison Mail which sucks cause thats my "goto" email client. Gmail works, but I'm not a fan of the interface. Outlook works as that is what I use for my company emails through Exchange, but since it doesn't offer color coding, I don't like mixing my other email accounts with it. Spark was hit or miss, sometimes it would show up with the badge counter, but never on the lock screen. Airmail is a complete waste now that it went subscription base, but, it still did not show the badge counter nor the lock screen notifications. Newton had issues, and is not updated frequently enough. The built in email client experience intermittent notification issues, and would not download new email without opening the app first? How stupid is that!

Right now, even though I'm not a fan of the interface, PolyMail is working on all accounts. Badges show up properly. Notifications show up properly, and email arrives almost instantaneous. Notifications on my watch work perfectly again.

Pretty sad that we are having these major issues on the 1 area that 99% depend on everyday.

What doesn't make sense though is my old XS did not experience any of these issues throughout the beta program? Edison Mail worked like a champ until I switched to my 11 Pro.

Had to switch to Outlook... issues with that is you if you’re in the Camera Roll and select multiple pics and use Copy and then try and paste into Outlook doesnt work! Another one if you’re in Camera Roll and select multiple pics and choose send via Outlook doesn’t work opens Outlook but doesn’t include the pics! Tried with one or 3 pics doesn’t matter... sucks.

only way pic attachment works is within The Outlook app itself.

and last issue with pics Outlook doesn’t resize the pics so that sucks even more.

loved Mail app come on Apple fix it!

Same issues here (getting notifications but takes forever for mail to show, often have to kill and restart and wait) with iOS mail under 13.1. Amazed how they let this get by. My work email is "kinda" important. I tried using the Outlook app but it only loads a small amount of mail. I need to be able to search and find older mail as well.
