They sometimes do a really good job, but then can't help themselves but get carried away with unnecessary punctuation.

Seriously, as if Apple would EVER use an exclamation point in an official correspondence.

Lol, I like the “There was a problem account information” opener, like ummmmm.... I think you missed a “with your” there guys.

That's true. I get lots of these fake emails, you can tell they are scams for their poor english :D

Here's an interesting fact. Those emails are spelled poorly intentionally. If they spelled better and had proper grammar, they might get more responses, but lots of those people are too smart to ever send money. They would waste a lot more time with people who will never pay out. They spell poorly on purpose to weed out the intelligent and get the most gullible.

The scammers are far more intelligent than they want people to think. If they can run an elaborate scam, they could use a spell-checker or hire someone to do it for them.

Also, guys...
Just a heads up- if you get one from a Nigerian prince PLEASE take extra care to look at the return address! If it’s one of those legit Nigerian prince emails it will always come from an address ending in: @nigeria.gov.ng. If it comes from a different address, you may be looking at a scam email situation.
Stay informed, keep fighting the good fight! =)
People can still spoof email and make it look like a real one, even make it come from "@apple.com".

Agreed but who wants to step into this kind of hot mess!

I would rather avoid to begin with than deal with it later.

I think most would agree!
Absolutely agree. It's just comforting to know, and fraudulent charge will be investigated and the holder of the card is not liable.

I'm curious what the link looks like. Are you able to post the first half without it being a hyperlink?
