CDMA iPhones can not do Data + Talk. Period.

And you sir, are incorrect. Do some research on SVDO. My Galaxy S3 and my HTC Thunderbolt do it just fine on LTE or 3G. The iPhone 5 apparently has a QualCom chip in it that should allow it - but due to design decisions/contraints Apple did not implement it.

Like I said then, the CDMA iPhone can't do data + talk. Period. Regardless what is available for other phones, the iPhone can not do it. So here, the incorrect one is you.

Even though there is other phones we're talking about doing it on the OP's iphone 5.
And like Jav said in order to do it he'd have to stick to GSM carriers.

Enable simultations voice & data on any iPhone 5

You clearly stated in that post that it was a limitation of CDMA networks. It is not. It is a limitation in the iPhone. The second segment of your quote did not carry over in Tapatalk (running latest BETA and may be a bug) so it did appear that I was referring to the iPhone portion. What I was referring to was your blanket statement that CDMA was incapable of voice/data at the same time. Sorry about the misunderstanding on the quote.

For some reason some companies don't allow both voice and data to be used at the same time. Is there a jailbreak for this?

you can use voice and data at same time but you have to be on wifi in order to do so. I know this might not help when you are out and about without a wifi signal but just letting you know.
