I just checked Amazon and ESR case for "2024 iPhone" won't start shipping until after 1/1/2025.
Can that be true if the ESR website shows the case now??
Does it take over 3 months to create/design a case ?

LMAO

It is kind of weird that the "action button/captive camera button" has the sim removal hole. 🤣
I think I saw a rumor that said that it was going to be built into the 5G antenna window, which corresponds to the SIM tray on non-US phones.

Supreme colabs are wild but I would 100% get the hat in your avatar to skate in during the winter months. 🤣

Just because it’s shown on the website doesn’t mean the company is brave enough to pull the trigger on risk starting manufacturing today. If they get it wrong by even a mm, all those cases have to be dumped.

All you’re seeing on websites are renders to lure you in, not actual shipping products.

No, SIM tray is on the logic board side, same side as volume buttons.

SIM hole on the right is just due to a bad render.

They have the best cases for iPhone right now, hands down. Best balance of protection and features. ESR thinks of everything. They were the first ones to ship 3-in-1 chargers with magnetic aligned for AirPods cases with MagSafe, and I don't know if anyone else is even doing it yet.

ESR didn’t leak anything. They spammed you.
Exactly.

These are renders based on leaks and they are making a product based on it. Nothing new or different to what we've seen for months and months.

And by "making", I mean they're 99% sure these leaks are accurate but not 100% so they haven't actually started making them but just hoping to capitalize on early adopters and hype.

*I personally believe the leaks are 100% accurate. But nobody is completely sure until Apple actually unveils the product.

I don't remember leakers ever giving us all specs and design with no inaccuracies. But Apple is so predictably iterative that most can give very good guesses, experts or not.

Usually not. These case products are fairly simple to make and Apple rarely makes big changes to iPhone.

This year might be different, however, as Qi2 and the (rumored) new MagSafe specs might mean that they have to tweak them a bit? Or maybe because of the new camera button? I don't know.

I'd assume the January 1 is just tentative, to buy them time if necessary.

Again, this all proves that they aren't leaking anything: They'd have a huge first-movers advantage if they had iPhones 16 cases ready at launch or even announcement.

Nothing more to glean from these renders than the ones leakers and analysts have been broadcasting to the media for months and months.

What about spigen?

I disagree. I’ve ordered cases a day after a phone is announced and I get it the next day and it’s perfect.

there’s nothing to disagree about because what he said was true most case makers do gamble on the leaks to get up first. Most of the time they will be nearly correct but other times they will be off with the cam bump or buttons.

Like I said I disagree. I’ve ordered plenty of cases prior to a phones announcement and they’ve been fine.

The dumping part if they have just pulled the trigger based on leaks I understand. Should have made my point clearer.
