Hey blitzydog,
According to my tracking info, my macbook departed the FedEx location in MEMPHIS, TN May 21, 2006 @ 3:27 PM I havent heard anything new either. Does anyone know if the tracking feature works once the package has entered Canada? How long do packages take to clear customs? I suppose to have mine by May 25th (there is still lots of time I know).

It should have because mine left Indianapolis around the same time as yours left Memphis and it's already in NY--I doubt its the Canadian border, when Fedex scans a package anywhere it should come up--hell, it did for China so Canada should be no problem.
It's just probably because it's a longer trip--my guess is it'll be there by tomm. or Friday, esp blitz's since he got the upgraded shipping
its been my experience that apple's free shipping usually just means 3 days or so, never worth the upgrade cept for next day

Looks like both our MacBooks are on the same plane
Called FedEx twice today asking them if the packages were going to be delivered tomorrow as planned and both times they said Yes! Apparently there's a pretty big shipment of MacBooks making it's way into Toronto and Montreal...Hehaaww, Mine's at the Local Fedex Distribution Center, as of just before 8am this morning (9am now!). I should have it shortly

8 days?? i ordered mine last thurs and its here (free ship)....why do you think theres such discrepancies with shipping times?

Yea 8 days, order time 5PM PDT May 16, supposed to arrive May 25. So it'll be a total of 9 days. I have no idea why it took so long for Apple to get going. I didnt get my "we're processing your order" email until Thursday night. No emails in the mean time saying why it was taking so long.

Overall great little machine but I have the "moo" problem
Got mine too! great machine - SUPER fAST! but it moos too.. the whole time I wondered "Moo? Wha? How could the computer sound like a moo..." But now I know.. heheh. Any ideas to get around this? It's caused by the fan going on and off, I know that. Thankfully, when web browsing, chatting, etc.. it's good. Has only happened when I played a little Wolfenstein: ET.
Other than that, I'm quite satisfied.. LOVE the keyboard. and the screen!!
And the Caps Lock light is so cute.
mine has not mooed at all, though i have not tried playing any games...
