I really hope that I will get my phone via DHL Express. UPS is really disaster for my area.

Both UPS and DHL Express are usually reliable here, same as DPD. But UPS is usually the earliest and sometimes delivers stuff while we‘re still at breakfast, so I‘d go with them if I had the choice 😄

Ordered a 14 PM 256Gb Space Black from Amazon.de around 14:45. no idea how the delivery date will be looking but anyone here ordered roughly the same?

With DHL Express I can change it to self pickup at the DHL Express Hub only 10 minutes away from me. This enables me to pick it up already at 6:00 CEST 😃

Well that is quite convenient! My nearest DHL express hub is 45km away sadly.
I remember back in 2018 I had to drive 60km to a shady TNT hub to pick up my Xs Max and Apple Watch Series 4 😅

Got my case too.

14 Pro (left) - 13 Pro (right)

They are identical except for the camera cutout, which is slightly larger and taller on the 14 Pro case. The case also fits my 13 pro, as the button positioning is identical.

No other differences that I can spot.

Is the camera bump damaged on the 13 pro? How did that happen? Also, the camera almost touches the magnetic ring lol

Yes, bumped it into a metallic door and got chipped - weird one.

There's less than a 1 mm between the camera bump and the magsafe ring, here's some photos on a Magsafe stand. Doesn't impact rotation, but I don't see how Apple can keep increasing the bump next year without changing overall size.

Wow that's getting tight. They're definitely running out of space with the ever-growing camera bump. By the way, when you bumped into the door, did your 13pro suffer any damage? Another thing I observe is that the clear case hasn't yellowed at all! I was on the fence between the clear case and the silicone one, finally ended up getting the silicone. But maybe further down the road I'll get the clear one, since it does let you show the original color of the phone.

No damage at all to the phone, the case absorbed all impact. Both cases look similar, no yellowing at all. The only downside is that small particles like dust or sand will get their way between the case and the phone, which is quite visible on transparent plastic - also harder to dismount off the phone, as it's made of hard plastic that fits very tight. Very easy to clean though, also the magsafe experience is perfect.

Any idea when Amazon is going to show some movement? I preordered mine (512 GB PM Deep Purple) on Friday in the afternoon. So far no further info apart from a kind of fishy chat with support where I was told I will receive it on Friday - I‘ll believe it when I have it in my hands ;-)

I guess we‘ll be getting eMails regarding the delivery date from Amazon.de today.
At least I got a mail from them yesterday saying the Watch Series 8 will arrive this saturday. So, there seems to be some movement with the new Apple devices

Still nothing is going on at my order from last Friday 14:04. Money changed it’s owner, but that’s all. No one week of excitement, flight tracking or comparing tracking movements like in the US threads.

Can’t we get our phones directly from China instead of keeping them under the radar for almost a week? I’m jealous

already got my case yesterday. Went from a XS Max to 14 Pro, will be interesting to see how much of a difference it is gonna be in daily use size wise. Everything else wise it will be night and day i imagine

Deep purple looks great. Not as good as the beautiful Pacific Blue of the iPhone 12 Pro, but I love that the tint changes with the light. Looks very purple, then grayish with a touch of purple.
Apple doing a great job with their selection.
Had a « black/gray » phone for a long time but since iPhone X, Apple always have something else for me.
Got the X and Xs in white, 11 Pro in green, 12 Pro Pacific blue and 13 Pro Sierra Blue.
Only regret was not getting the iPhone 7 in jet black.
