Ordered 16PM in Natural Titanium and with 512GB, expected delivery date is the 20th September (Germany)

Less than one minute later I ordered a second one for my sister (16PM, Desert Titanium, 256GB) and the expected delivery date is about one week later

Just randomly decided to order one at 7:45 pm for in-store pick up in Berlin on launch day. That certainly is a first!

In Store Trade in is also nice because if they refuse to pay me what is shown on the website, I'll not get the phone

What's impressive is that you can still (at 20:50) order several iPhone 16 (non-Pro) models for delivery or pick up on launch day. I don't remember them lasting so long the other years.

Ordered my iPhone 16 Pro Max 256 GB in Natural Titanium at 14:02. It will be delivered on Friday September 20. I had some issues with Apple Pay and solved it at 14:04. So that’s when the other went through.

My brother didn’t get through the app, so I ordered the 16 Pro Max White Titanium 256 GB for him. Also for September 20. Both are PFS.

My preorder in Germany went really wrong. My apple gift card deposit didn’t show up in the payment process for the first time.
2 minutes after launch the delivery time was raised to 25-30th Sep. It was still possible to pick up my chosen 16PM (natural tutanium) in a store. I went through the process, chose my saved deposit and then got an error message that it can only be delivered, but not picked up anymore.
When I chose delivery again, the shipping time increased to 30th Sep-8th October. It makes me really upset.

Unfortunately, not. I even got 30th-8th. I think, they will ship 1-2 days before the date. So, you’ll probably get your iPhone on the Monday, 23th.

Shouldn't most carriers allow you to change the delivery date or redirect it to a post office / pickup station once the shipment is on its way to you?

Yes, they should. But it is not always the case especially if it is Die Post delivering it.

In Germany Apple cooperates with DHL Express and UPS. Are you sure that Swiss Post will deliver the package?

When you get your tracking number, you should be able to change the delivery date or address. Apple usually sends via DHL (or UPS).

Mine was the same. When I put the phones into the basket it still said 20th of September but after confirming and paying it slipped to 25-30 September. To be honest it was the first time ordering from Apple I experienced change of delivery dates. I am very upset about it because I’m going on holidays on 21st
