I really thought you’d understand at this point, filing a lawsuit is easy. Winning is tough.
The DoJ surely has it metrics for monopoly power.
Whether that'll hold up for their suit in court is a different question.

But it's clear that Apple has monopoly power according to at least some (non-European) "metrics".

Smartphones are just mobile computers. You can access Spotify from PC’s, Linux, and so on too. So Apple doesn’t have 27% market share at all, it is way lower.
And airplanes are just motorised passenger vehicles - like helicopters, cars and E-Bikes.
You can use all of them to get from point A to point B.

Yet nobody would seriously consider Airbus and Boeing having just a tiny market share of the motorised passenger vehicle market.

People shell out money willingly for apple services and products. They still have a 27% market share.

That’s not apples fault, but the EU punished apples for it’s competitors failures.

Sure I’m sure somewhere in the world apple is defined as a monopoly. Look at MR, they are defined as a monopoly on this site.
And airplanes are just motorised passenger vehicles - like helicopters, cars and E-Bikes.
You can use all of them to get from point A to point B.

Compared to cars, the market share of transportation devices are in favor of legs, then cars.
