Hello! Apple finally dropped the invite for MacBook Pro event, so I want to create this thread for those who are going to order one of these MBP.

We were waiting a lot for this machines and I am so excited about that moment. The event is going to take place on Monday 18th October.

I hope so, what made you decide for a 14”?
I currently use a 13” and usually have 1-2 external monitors connected anyways… I really hope that with the new ones you are able to connect 2 displays to the MacBook Pro without any issues…
Just one screen feels to small to me anyways and I like it to to be as small and light for transport as possible…

Ordered the base 14" Space Grey with 8 core CPU and 14 core GPU, 16GB RAM and 512 SSD.

I'm upgrading from a Silver rMBP 2015 13" with an i5 2,7Ghz with 8GB RAM and 256 SSD, so jump in performance (and everything else really) should be pretty big haha.

Base config is enough for my needs (music production and photo editing).

My only doubts are if Space Grey is the right choice :)

Oh boy… now I see that if I’ll get the bigger charger I could get the MacBook one week earlier… it’s tempting… but I have to go to bed actually…

Ordered the 14” base config, 16GB/512GB is plenty for me. I work in IT, mostly remote on servers etc.. don’t need crazy local recourses. I do need the two external monitor support and battery though, other than that its mostly a luxury upgrade.

Expected delivery Nov. 3 to Nov. 8.

Well, I did it… I canceled my original order and got a new 14” base MacBook Pro with a 20€ up charge for the fast charger and now I’ll get it one week earlier (3rd-8th) hopefully just in time…
Now I am happy ?… and finally go to bed…
