Hi all

Considering buying such, Indigo Neo. How it will be regarding smoothness and longevity?

Connections: monitor, Asus ProArt 1440p, external SSD. 80% of time

Tasks are:
- browsing-mailing. Of course, Firefox with most aggressive ad blocking
- Photoshop, very moderate. 3 photos at the same time of 30MP each with 4 layers of masking, cloning and brushing. In the same time - watching youtube on another display
- iMovie/Davinci for simplest editing of 40 min target clip max.
- couple of specific Windows games with some compatibility layer. Light, but sensitive to 60fps, for example Defense Grid 1/2

Will I expect any interface lags?
Will it last at least 3 years?

The games might be a problem.

If you can afford and M4 or M5 laptop with 16GB, you’ll have better results but I know that can cost more. Even so, not sure about the games.

I have the base Neo and I love it.

I've installed and tested LRC and PS and it works, but, for me I would only use those tools like when on vacation or so, so maybe a few times per year, and only light usage.
PS is a RAM hog which is why my main computer is a M1Max Studio with 64GB RAM.
If I were using a laptop in your scenario (external monitor etc) I'd get a MBA or a MBP and get as much RAM as u could afford.
