If you want to lose your JailBreak just restore in iTunes.
If you want to keep your JailBreak just boot into Safe Mode.
What's the problem?

New Ipod 5g Jailbreak
I have just ordered a new Ipod Touch 5g which I'd ideally like to Jailbreak. A couple of questions:
- Which version of iOS 6 will it ship with?
- If it's basic 6.0, will it automatically update to the latest version before I have time to Jailbreak?

You would be very lucky to get it with 6.1.2 or under on it.
When you hook it up to iTunes just choose to cancel the pop up banner saying a newer version of iOS is available.

Just download whatever version you find at the official evasi0n website appropriate for your OS.
You can then upgrade through Cydia if its outdated (although i doubt it is).
Okay, I've been jailbreaking for awhile and I did honestly search, but maybe I'm not getting it so someone please ELI5: I'm on 5.0.1 JB on my iPhone 4, how do I get to 6.1.3JB? (I have SHSH blobs for it, but you have to download it via Cydia... how do I do that when I restore to 6.1.3?)
Safari and Mail?
I did the 7.0.4 jailbreak on my iPhone 4 as soon as it was announced. The JB went well and apart from some well-known issues with Cydia apps, all is well.
But...
Safari and Mail each open a blank window and immediately close. That's no bother since I have Chrome and Gmail, but is there a way to change the default browser and e-mail client?

For some reason my tweaks just vanish for the definitions. I have them installed but can't access.

Unfortunately I installed the jailbreak on an 'updated over the air' iPad mini 2. My bad! 
Now the iPad is stuck in an endless loop (apple logo, turn off, apple logo etc).
I can go into recovery/DFU mode but as soon as I try do a restore iTunes tells me an "error 11/17 has occurred". Someone that can put me in the right direction on how to solve this matter?

Hey everyone
I did a restore several times, both in itunes "restore" and with a complete ipsw file but when the jailbreak is finished, (after the evasi0n logo with explaining text with kernel writing etc...) i get the apple logo boot loop.
Any clue why?
I've also jailbroken my iphone 5 before, so i know how to do it
I've got an ipad 2 wifi that has been jailbroken before, untethered, but i don't remeber which jailbreak it was.

Has anyone had an issue opening Evasion with Mac 10.6.8? I can't open it even If I hold Control and open.
iphone stuck at apple logo after evasion jailbreak.
hi my iphone5 got stuck on the apple logo and i can't do the :"hold the power and home button" thing cz my home button is broken. And whenever i plug my phone to my mac nothing happens. I left all night so the battery will run out but when it got back ON,its stuck again, and if i pluged it to my mac while rebooting and pressed the home button it won't enter DFU mode..... PLEASE help!!!!!

I don't use a Mac but since no one else has replied...
Safari on Mac's does not, unlike just about every other browser, unzip files automagically.try unzipping it first.

There isn't a way to unzip and ctrl open file doesn't work like suggested in the FAQ on evasion. Guess I'll have to wait for an updated file...
Yeah, a lot of stuff on Cydia doesn't work yet. I did it on my iPad. Definitely not doing it on the iPhone yet, even though I love the look.
I am lost why my DFU steps are not working.
1. I load in DFU mode, press both buttons for 10 seconds
2. Followed by 10 second holding home button.
3. Great iTunes detected it to restore.
4. I restore it but some folks mentioned it needs to download iOS 7.0.4, which is not the case for me.
5. I restore factory iOS and then restore my back up.
6. When I JB I get the Apple logo reboot issue.
I already ran through this cycle 3 times but not seeing if I am making any mistakes.
I may try clean restore without adding my personal settings to see if that works.
Any tips appreciated.
