No their not. It just seems that way based on the hype during keynotes when Steve Jobs tells stories to fit his "Reality Distortion Field".
Not true, why you make up this baloney is crazy.
And what philosophy are you referring to?
Perhaps your vivid imagination has become out of control. Where do you come up with these stories?
If you're here to troll, your time here will be limited.
As far as the poster's opinion goes, it's in line with that of the industry and consumers at large, and it's a fair assessment of the current situation, albeit a bit simplistic. Everyone is reacting to Apple. That's just the way it goes. Apple commands enormous mindshare. They're the most powerful company in consumer tech, bar none. They've earned it, often by taking risks and going against the grain. I don't see anything wrong with their success.
Jobs can say anything he likes. The fact remains, consumers have responded. Regardless of any claims made, the products are what they are. If the products weren't any good, they wouldn't keep selling. The value proposition that Apple offers has elicited an enormous amount of enthusiasm from consumers and has generated a lot of excitement. If you believe this is due to some mass brainwashing that has lasted over a decade, then I wonder what your position is on the Easter Bunny.
Sorry that the market and industry aren't moving in the direction you'd like.
