Had to get the orange alpine…. Knew it would be a great match to a certain jersey… 😉

Purchased this Platinum/Black for litereally a couple of € aware that it was not in pristine conditions. It looks fine on the wrist and I'll be mostly use it for running and outdoor activities, but I was wondering if there's a way to clean up a bit the black stripes on the inside. TBH I have yet to see a well used Platinum/Black band that hasn't changed color on the inside like this. If somebody hasn't had this experience with this band, what's your secret?!

Seeing the discussions about cleaning the white Nike bands got me wondering whether the white or black Nike sport bands are more durable? I see lots of white ones with marks on, but presumably the black could be susceptible to fading?

I’m after a Series 8 (silver, aluminium) and am between getting the white or black Nike sport band, primarily to wear when running and cycling. Durability might swing the decision.

I would think the black band would show less wear and tear over time. Even if it fades, wouldn’t it be safe to assume that would be less noticeable than staining on a lighter colour? 🤔

Both are durable and both will lose the soft-touch coating. As for fading... not an issue for me. I do see the black marks on my Obsidian Mist/Black Nike band but the marks do not show when I'm wearing the watch as the marks are at the end of the M/L strap. I clean with isopropyl alcohol but it does not remove the marks.

There was a Nike band released a few years ago that’s mainly purple and black. I wish they’d re-release it. Probably my favorite band, but it’s starting to get pretty worn and it’s bumming me out. Since it was Nike, it also had whatever those reflectors are called in it, so it was good to use at night.

Does anyone know the name of this color?

According to Bandbreite for iOS it looks like this one:

They'll be like new again. Even with the matte finish. One of the many reasons why I spend more and buy originals and not Ali's cheap ones...

Hello - for the past few months I've been looking for a Dark Cherry Braided Solo Loop in my size (discontinued). I had the iPhone 13 Dark Cherry leather case and it was one of my favorite colors Apple has released... but I'm having great difficulty finding one.

Any tips on how to find a new/used discontinued band? Seems my only choice are 3rd party bands with questionable quality 😞

MacBlowouts on eBay has this color listed right now in several wrist sizes to fit the smaller size watch. I’ve had good luck finding the braids on eBay for my collection.

Thank you. Unfortunately I have a 44mm watch. Definitely hard to find the band for the my size case (44mm) and band length (4 or 5), but I suppose that's the nature of these solo loops.
