Already ordered for pickup in a town that I will be in on Friday…seems it will NOT be in stores by tomorrow, or maybe it will and I’ll try for it there. Wish it were a LOOP band, but I can make a Sport Band work fineHow many of us are ordering the 2023 Pride Sport Band?
Ordered mine this morning. Delivery expected WednesdayHow many of us are ordering the 2023 Pride Sport Band?
Not sure yet.
FYI, this is the first Sport Band they sell in Europe where you have to choose between the S/M and M/L parts (like in the US since last fall). Bummer.
Better known as ‘shrinkflation’… instead of raising the price of the product, they give you less band for the same price 😉
makes deal hunting harder, but i digress.Yeah, the „test run“ in the U.S. must have gone well, I guess 😲
I mean, if you keep the band it‘s kinda fine because you only ever use one of the two parts anyway, but it kinda splits the number of potential buyers for a re-sale in half … 😕
Oh, finally. A pride band for a Sport Band fanatic like myself. And it's SO pretty too. I'm ordering it. RIGHT NOW.Disappointed we won't be getting a Nike pride this year! Another sign Apple is killing off their softgoods team I feel like.
The Pride sport Band looks good, though. I love an engraved pin.

Unfortunately yes. Apple has extended this cost savings measure to outside of North America now as well.do you now only get one size with the sport bands?
I'd definitely look for some brighter colors to add to your collection if you plan on growing it! The lighter casing color will play on them well.Thank you everybody for sharing and providing inspiration!
My small collection, all the bands are genuine Apple bands. The AW Sport band colors are: red, abyss blue, clover, khaki, black. Green alpine loop and Ocean midnight blue band.
In my opinion it ultimately depends on the clothes you have to match... indeed I am looking for a starlight sport band (and an orange alpine loop for the summer).I'd definitely look for some brighter colors to add to your collection if you plan on growing it! But beware! Before you know you’ve become a bandaholic 😩.I'd definitely look for some brighter colors to add to your collection if you plan on growing it! The lighter casing color will play on them well.
I've been addicted to mechanical watches for a long time (and still am) and that is a quite more expensive addiction. But since several years, for sport/medical reasons, I wear an Apple Watch 24/7. So bands are my only way to trick myself into thinking "OK today I'm wearing a different watch".But beware! Before you know you’ve become a bandaholic 😩.
The Verge has an amazing write-up of the Apple Watch's band-swapping mechanism. Who knew it would be that intricate? And probably thanks to everyone in this thread, the Apple Watch has a $1 billion accessory ecosystem!

The unsung heroes of the Apple Watch are its hidden buttons
Apple used Rolex-level manufacturing to make a simple thing special.www.theverge.com
„Apple’s band release button beats the hell out of fiddling with little spring bars and jeweler’s tools.“
This is one of the biggest strengths of the AW ecosystem - everyone can swap straps and almost feel they get a new watch! Also all the people that would never swap a normal strap at allTruer words have never been spoken 😂
