I bought two of the new Nike Sport Bands. Both (always the piece w/o pin) have a dent / are not 100% straight like my other Sport Bands are. Is this normal with this new type of bands or was I just unlucky?

It‘s not super good to see on the pics but it looks much worse in reality. None of my Sport Bands has that - even after 8+ years of wearing.

Maybe they do it on purpose to emphasize the use of recycled materials 😁.
But seriously, if you feel or think that it’s not supposed to be like this then return it or ask for a replacement in the store.

I thought that maybe here in the thread is somebody who already has one of these bands too and can confirm whether this is a systematic problem with this new type of bands.

If yes, it would not make sense to return/replace it.

It’s a flexible band. Having the tail be slightly not level isn’t even something you’ll notice when wearing. It serves no functional different to the watch. Why would you create more waste in returning it?

Wait until you find out the pin half doesn’t lie down flat either!

If it really bothers you, leave it under a heavy book for a couple hours.

Do you have Northern Blue too for comparison? I remember Northern Blue to be darker in person and is more similar to those 3 bands than the marketing images would suggest

Yep, I have every sport band - just for these comparisons.

Here you go, Northern Blue left, Winter Blue right - doesnt look anything like it fwiw. Its not super coming across in these pictures but N.Blue has a hint of green (imho) and is commonly confused with Cactus - which has even more green. Its wild just because they all look similar until you literally have all of them then you can see the distinctions heh.

Also, Mulberry on SBS8 Hermes - far left. (which looks incredible).

Thank you so much for all these comparisons which are so useful in deciding if the new bands are different enough to check out! Winter is a lot darker than I would have thought judging by Apple‘s pictures (and hence more interesting for my collection). Ordered!

No one does. The band has been unavailable since the keynote.
Figured - Apple's marketing versus actual stock issue.

So at the end of 14 days if the magnetic band does not show up, do I just return it or will Apple let me "exchange and upgrade band" for $50USD more?

I don't want to own 2 bands and pay another $100 for the magnetic band.

Seems unfair of Apple to do this for their misgivings...

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. This comment reads like I'm missing context.

No clue on the partial return policy either. Believe it or not, though, Apple has a support chat!
