Ok the silicone bands are easy to put in, the metal lugs are tough to fit the 41mm. If you have a 41mm watch you MUST get the 40mm bands, the 42 fit but stick off. I think that means once the SE goes away, everyone with a 41mm watch is screwed.

I’m glad I checked in store! I was about to buy four bands in 42mm!

Does this mean that 40/41 mm bands leave a ‘gap’ on the 42 mm series 10?
Man I really hope not. For Apple to have maintained 42-44-45-46mm band compatibility right up into the ultra, but potentially disconnect the smaller size compatibility would really annoy me.

Indeed I will need to test 'em out when I have a chance to go to Apple Store on my 3-day weekend. BTW I do not mind the minor 1-2mm extension if I would buy new bands.

My wife's 2015 Modern Buckle straps fit her new Natural Ti S10 42mm perfectly. Obviously there is a slight tone difference but the lugs fit seamlessly.
IK I have a modern buckle on my gold SS 40mm; and Natural Titanium's sheen seems like of a different tone of silver v. natural SS. I heard folks w/ the same AW size as me using the 'new 42mm' straps see a 1 to 2mm extra width despite it snapping in place properly.

That’s an improvement, because I have one of the original 38mm leather classic buckles, and the lugs actually stuck out a little bit with my 41mm Series 7 (probably because of the squarer design of the original watches). Good to hear that band compatibility is fully maintained.
