Black magnetic link (black steel) — not as deep or warm as the classic first black leather loop but I’m digging it. Reminds me of jeans/dungarees. The twill is a pretty strong materials contrast

Think we might get a special watch band for the leaked Ten Year Celebration activity challenge? Apple’s done it before with the Black Unity bands and Unity challenge, so there’s precedent.

ETA: looked it up and he's referencing a MR thread that's from November about an iOS beta referencing some ten year celebration. I'd bet if we haven't heard anything by now it's not happening, but i guess waiting until April makes sense.

Reminds me of the Pride band from last year but with black color and flakes instead of colorful sprinkles.

I think  will release this probably in next weeks announcement at the earliest.

I'm not so sure, the fact that we've seen multiple of this band leak out and even sell suggest to me the project is dead.

My guess is, if we do see it, it'll be in a 6 month watch refresh with a limited edition 10 year anniversary jet black case like we had with the Black Unity Series 6.

Here's all the pictures I have of the "10 Year Celebration Sport Band."

It's a black base with confetti made of past seasons' colors. The pin is a polished jet black aluminum with specialty engraving "2014-2024 Ten Years of Apple Watch" in matching styles with the Hermes Sport Band, Pride collection and Black Unity collection bands.

Both examples that sold on eBay in October of last year were 42mm (new size) S/M. I think one sold for $100 and the other was an auction that went for around that as well. Maybe a little less. I forget. There's also a third one I've seen out of China, also 42mm S/M, which sold for a lot less. I don't think anyone has come forward as a buyer of one of these listings yet, but the matching sizes hints the possibility that these don't exist in 46mm.

The first few pics are from the eBay seller who photographed it in the plastic trays Apple uses to transfer samples from the factory in China to Apple's Softgoods team in Cupertino, so I'm 99% sure they're real, sanctioned Apple bands.

Edit: I can also confidently say these prototypes have no printing on the backside (where normal retail bands say "42mm" and "S/M") which tells me they weren't retail ready samples. These were likely earlier in the design process.

So y’all is this an internal prototype of an exclusive band that they were supposed to release last April?

What are y’all’s thoughts on FineWoven? If y’all used bands with these materials do they hold up well? I have 3 official leather  bands
