Interesting. A comparison picture would be cool, but I guess the difference would be very hard to capture?

Also, can you compare the tactile side of things? I never owned a ceramic Watch, but when I fondled one I thought it felt less slick and a little more „grippy“ than steel. Am I right about that and where does the jet black fall wrt this?
It's hard to capture, but i took a few photos anyway, not that it's really something proven by them. Steel just looks steel, and the jet black looks more like what I'd expect a black ceramic to look like. It's got that more pearly look to it.

Interesting you mention the feel of them. I totally see what you mean, and yes, jet black feels more like a ceramic watch than a stainless model.

I’ve been leery of solo loops for fear of them getting sweaty and causing a rash, but Peony and especially Northern Lights are just so nice I may have to try one. Will need a Lilly Pulitzer face to go with them.

We miss the ceramic Apple Watch Edition. It only went through two generations of Apple Watch designs over three phases between the series 3 and 5.

A series 11 in ceramic needs to return.
Actually the ceramic Apple Watch Editions were released between the series 2 and 5 with the series 4 being skipped.

Wait are you saying the chat bot can get things wrong? Shook
The claim that "the ceramic Apple Watch Editions were released between the series 2 and 5 with the series 4 being skipped" is inaccurate. Here’s why:

  1. Ceramic Apple Watch Editions: The ceramic models of the Apple Watch were introduced with the Series 2 and Series 3, and then returned with the Series 5, but they were not released between Series 2 and 5 with Series 4 being skipped.
  2. Series 2: The Apple Watch Edition (Ceramic) was first introduced with the Series 2 in 2016, offering a luxury option with a polished white ceramic case.
  3. Series 3: The ceramic model continued with the Apple Watch Series 3 in 2017, though with limited availability in some regions.
  4. Series 4: The Apple Watch Series 4 (2018) did not feature a ceramic model. This is the instance where there was no ceramic edition, but it wasn’t skipped—it simply wasn’t offered that year.
  5. Series 5: The ceramic model made a return with the Apple Watch Series 5 in 2019, where it was offered as a high-end option alongside the titanium case.
So, while the ceramic Apple Watch Edition was indeed released between Series 2 and 5, Series 4 was not skipped—rather, it was the first series to not include the ceramic model. The ceramic edition returned with Series 5 after being absent in Series 4.

Oh no the LLM slop has taken control of the Mike

Anxious to see Peony braided solo vs Flamingo braided solo. Agree the solo loops look good.
Same for Aquamarine vs Pistachio braided solo loop.

BTW: shouldn’t the Nike Black/Blue and Starlight/Pink Sport Loops from last autumn be included separately in the Bandbreite database from the 2023 releases with the same name? In my opinion it was already concluded months ago that these are not identical, just as the current Starlight Sport Band is the 2nd generation vs the older 1st generation.

I emailed the app for this, especially because Starlight has starlight lugs and not pink lugs and is a very noticeable difference, on top of the subtle yarn differences of both updated loops.

At the very least the old listing could get an additional photo showing the new colors.

As I posted a few months ago, at least the current Starlight/Pink Sport Loop als has different coloured lugs than the 2023 release.

And what’s in your opinion the difference between ‘being skipped’ and ‘not included’ in the line of ceramic watches? Might be that English is not my native language 😉.

im not skipped for social events, im just not picked. they'll invite me next time.

...right?

It probably helps that I didn’t order periwinkle as it doesn’t come in BSL or an exclusive silicone solo loop, but these colors are more fresh than they seem!

Tangerine is the first porange BSL, Aquamarine the first bright turquoise BSL (very different to Pistach) and just a bright stunner (curious how unique the goo will be compared to the long line of blue-tinted bright turq goo), and Peony is distinctly more magenta than Flamingo BSL and Pink Solo Loop. Pics tk

Northern Lights is actually kind of the bummer, pretty similar to Sprout/Tenderoni
