But to be sure I understand correctly-- once Apple says it's out of stock, Apple themselves will not be getting more-- correct? (at least online-- since you mention local stores may actually have some).
Once Apple says "Out of stock", they could theoretically order another batch to be made, but that usually doesn't happen - it's generally an indication that the front end of the pipeline has closed, and we may still find them on store shelves and/or at third-party retailers until the supply dries up. There have been a few (some of the early Nike ones, like Violet Dust/Plum Fog and Blue Orbit/Gamma Blue) that seemed to go out of stock in mere minutes, while "most" of the seasonal colors seem to last until the next batch of seasonal colors are released (or nearly so).

I suspect that if the current crop of seasonal ones runs low, it's more likely for Apple to order another batch - if they go with no "new/current" watchbands available for too long, that be bad for sales (don't want to tell customers "try back in 3 months at which point we'll have new new colors").

Thanks for all the pointers. But to be sure I understand correctly-- once Apple says it's out of stock, Apple themselves will not be getting more-- correct? (at least online-- since you mention local stores may actually have some). I guess if there were more coming they'd just have a backed-out shipping date like they do with other new releases that are in high demand.

I'd assumed as much in the past-- I just hadn't known them to sell out so quickly so I thought I'd confirm. Thanks!

In my observation the early to mid period of a band season some bands will sell out and then get restocked because the factories are producing them in batches. After the mid way point, they are unlikely to get restocked because Apple is clearing out inventory in anticipation for the next season’s bands. The summer season collection was launched in June, and the next season will be announced in the first week of September. That’s 3 months, so the mid way point is mid July so the likelihood of a restock is increasingly getting lower. This is the fastest selling season I recall - either because more people bought more bands, or Apple made less bands.

EDIT: I forget, which band(s) are you looking for?

I have seen them say sold out and then available on the apple store. But when I see this happen its only for a few days before it goes back to sold out.

Good to know. Oh, I was looking for a 40mm Dragon Fruit sport loop— not the end of the world if I don’t find one. Thanks!

Guys, if you would find several Hyper Grape 44mm Loops - would you get a couple of them as an "investment"?..

After seeing the current going rate for them on reddit right now, yes I would. I have two and will be saving one thats sealed. They only sold out a couple months ago for me and are selling for $75!

Can someone post some pictures of a silver stainless steel watch with a fog sport band at multiple angles? Or possibly some blue bands, red, etc.. i want to get a ss for my next watch and feel like the silver wont match well with my favorite sport bands for some reason.. fog and blue cobalt to be specific.

The only reason i consider a silver SS is because i really like the look of the silver link bracelet. Now i’m thinking it may pair well with the SBSS??

Edit: nvm, after going through all threads, I just wont be able to stay away from that silver ss link combo, very classy and looks good with just about any band..

Hi man! Do you know when we could get a refresh of this chart with all the new band colours?

Speaking about the best ones...

Guys, what is/are your favourite Apple Watch band(s)?

I can start:
- Hermes Medór Band
- Orbit/Gamma Blue Sport band
- Hyper Grape, Canary Yellow and Papaya Sport loops
Perhaps instead of trying to start this discussion in the middle of a long-running thread on a different topic, you should create a new post for your topic?

I don't want to make a big deal out of it :) We're in the middle of bands update cycle - till September there won't be any updates, why not to get opinions of others? :)
Because you're dragging this thread off-topic. Sure, you're bored right now. What about the people who come here in a few months scrolling back through looking for information under the actual topic of this thread, who have to wade through a page or two of people answering your query? Starting a new thread is really not that hard.
