The original bands that come with gold watches. I don’t know of any separately purchased ones.

Right but that doesn’t answer my question.. they do show up for sale secondary market. And the chart shows if it’s sold with watch only on other color/pin combos, just nothing I’m spotting with the gold pins.

For those who like the Ultra Violet sport band but haven't gotten around to purchasing one, best find one while you can. It has been discontinued. Apple and B&H Video are sold out.

Why would they discontinue a brand new color? Argh I’ve been trying to find one and can’t.

This just kind of happens with these bands, I think they only make so many of them and when they run out they run out. Last year they came out with this blue colored nike band called blue orbit gamma, I was considering ordering one of them but I wasn't sure about the color. About a month after this new color came out I was in my local apple store for another reason and happened to see the band in person and I loved the coloring of it. They didn't have any in stock and I couldn't order it on apples website and no other retailers online had any either. I never could buy one and now this is a rare color band that regularly goes for $100+ on eBay. I hate that some apple watch bands are like this.

Exactly. There is just one production run of the sesonal colours. If you really like/want a band, you better get it ASAP.

Which are “seasonal” .. any pattern to predict in the future?

If new bands are released, most of them are marked „available for a limited time“ (or something similar) in the Apple online store.

Actually, almost all bands are only available for a limited time as there are very, very few bands that are available constantly. Those are mostly the basic colours like black or white. Sometimes - but very rarely - bands do come back; the Fog sport band is one example.

I think if used sports bands are selling for $100+ dollars on eBay Apple should re-release those colors.

Well I’m obsessed with wanting a darn ultra violet and I’m bummed I can’t find one. Maybe months down the line one will show up that I can afford. I’ll have to move on lol.

No one ever answered my question about the different bands that came with watches and have like rose gold pins. Oh while I’m here.. on the chart the OP shared, what do the colored circles mean (sport bands)?

I tried. I don’t think they sell ones with gold pins. They just come with the matching watches.

“They” don’t but people do.. they show up on eBay, where you can’t really tell what color they are and the sellers don’t know either. There is at least one listing right now. The seller says it’s beige. Umm ok lol

What is with all the people trying to sell half a sport band? I don’t understand why one would buy that.

I’m surprised at the prices they are getting too. Guess if someone buys a used watch with only the small band and they need the large.. or if they are making up a complete set to sell.. I don’t know either!

Show off. Lol. I’m so jealous
You might find a nice macforumer who sees your comment and offers to sell you one. That’s how I got mine. I love it with gold.

They are Apple band junkies trying to fund their next Apple band fix.
But what are you going to do with half a band? You still have to get the other half somehow.

Sellers don't care. Money is money. Some people may have lost the short or long band, or damaged it in some way etc. In that light, the sale of the short or long band would make sense. True junkies don't make the mistake of losing or damaging a band. However, there are plenty of uneducated plebes who don't know any better.

Your new Ultra Violet band looks good. ;)
[doublepost=1517672509][/doublepost]There is a listing on eBay for an Ultra Violet band 38mm, albeit it is listed together with another new band.

I’ve seen a few pictures of people mixing and matching halves of bands. Could be a fun look especially if you can get colors for your sports team or something. Not really my style but kinda cute for younger folks and stuff.

I have the Ultra Violet and I keep considering buying another color (like Spicy Orange) but man I just love the UV too much.

Thank you.. I knew about that eBay listing, but the bidding there is going to be out of my league I’m sure. Days to go and it’s already at 76. :(
