Calling on @emiaj

I’m not necessarily here nor there on the release. I wasn’t too hyped for the summer colors anyways, because after they were delayed I lost hope for Nike Bands to come out.

By the way, let’s talk about that. No new Nike Bands, yet discontinued colors still remain up? What?

Also, calling @emiaj and @choreographics to the scene. Don’t forget to mark Fall 2019 colors discontinued as of Spring 2019!

hahaha I’m already on it... just finished my order of the new bands and now working on the chart. Hopefully I’ll finish it after dinner. 🤪

Man I was looking forward to the new leather loop-looking pill band
I still think that was an abandoned prototype or a fake. The only real evidence I ever saw cited to show they were genuine Apple were the stamped “Natural Leather” and “44 mm” markings. But it seems to me that those would be very easy to fake. Also, I really have a hard time believing Apple would replace the current leather loop with something that was more likely to fall off the wrist (single point of failure vs 2 points with the current design) and also looked cheaper.

Last Summer's bands were way nicer. Can confirm with having bought the Canary Yellow and Cornflower (and the matching Sport Loops), they're bright and fun and vibrant

With that said, perhaps this batch is proof of the emotional / psychological tole that work-from-home can take on a person? (ie. the colorologists at Apple)

Edit: forgot to mention.. I ordered Coastal, only because I like neutral options for SBSS and currently only have Gray 2017 as being even "remotely" close to it.

I kinda like the coastal gray but want to see it in real life pictures.

Still no purple!!!!

Good point. Come to think of it, all of Apple's bands have two points (or at least 1.5 point) of failure.

Coastal and vitamin C stand out, but sea foam and linen blue might be slow burners too! That’s four new sport bands plus pride, for an expensive summer!
I’d definitely like to see IRL pics of these before I decide. If I didn’t recently buy papaya I would be all over vitamin c. Regardless I like that new bands are out. Makes me happy.

  • Seafoam seems like another of those “almost white“ colors that just don’t do much for me.
  • Linen Blue is a nice desaturated grayish medium-to-dark blue, but I have 97 blues already.
  • Coastal Gray is... brown. It’s really not gray. Closer to Cocoa than any gray.
  • Vitamin C is... hmm, I don’t have any orange, and this seems kinda nice. Bright, fairly true orange, with just the right amount of saturation. Probably need to wait to see IRL pics.

I have been holding off on buying the meyer lemon leather loop. Since none of the new colors are calling my name. I decided to finally buy the meyer lemon leather loop.
Same Here. Flash is on the way. Spermint could be next.

Hi guys! So the Pride Edition 2020, which I love, is my first Nike Sport Band ever.
I've been using it for almost 2 weeks now, and while I love the aesthetic of it and the fact that the holes are in a different position compared to the regular sport band (so I can find a more comfortable fit for my wrist), I've noticed that somehow it feels really "light" on the wrist. I don't think it's because of the holes: my dad has an old Pure Platinum/Black Nike band, and it feels just as heavy on the wrist as a regular sport band. I like that feeling of "heaviness", it gives me the impression of solidity, and it also kind of sits better around the wrist because of its thickness that makes the watch tight on the skin.
So I've been wondering, the thinner material of the band is a new thing for Nike Bands? And the regular spring 2020 Sport Bands are also just as thin? Since when they changed it?
I was thinking about purchasing and old Nike sport Band if it means they are heavier.

My recollection is that the Nike bands are often not announced at exactly the same time. They could still be on the way.
Oh really? Ok.....I’m actually waiting for the midnight turquoise/aurora green to arrive this week that I ordered but won’t be sure if it’s a keeper until I see it in person.

@choreographics I have a present for you. Unfortunately these are the only images of Double Tour Deep Blue Medor band I managed to get. Hope it would be sufficient nevertheless for your chart.

Thank you! That's one image more than I had before.
I was trying to do some Photoshop-Magic, but it's not 100% there yet. But I like the little icon for self-made photos.
Maybe I should just write Hermès an eMail?

You can. But I’d tell you in advance - even when the band was on sale on their website - the image you’re trying to reproduce was not there. There was a regular single tour image instead. No ideas - why. Seems like these bands were cancelled, and a small amount of pre-produced ones were very silently sold on US website...
