So guys, I have another discussion question.

Which band would you come up to someone and ask about, if you saw them wearing it?

I know a lot (if not most) bands you'd maybe go "Oh, that guy has such and such color!" from a distance, but there has to be at least one that you'd go up to them and comment on, right?

My answer would have to be a 2018 Close Your Rings. It's never been copied by a fakes manufacturer, so you'd know it's legitimate, and being exclusive you know the person you're talking to is either an employee, knows an employee,or is an enthusiast.

It's been over 90 minutes since you posted that. So what have you realised you are looking now?

I realised this morning my wife went to work wearing a skirt with Dragonfruit stripes - I think. Mine should be here any day and we can check. I do love it when the one who gets a rare colour just triggers the other to need it also. I am resisting Ultra Violet that my wife has, but alas Rose Red is just a matter of time I think.

So interestingly Apple.ca has a bunch of the older sport loops (khaki, midnight, Alaskan blue, camel and anchor grey) back in stock. I thought these were gone for good from their site and I had been wondering why they didn’t do away with the colours on the website.

I got Alaskan Blue, Midnight and Anchor Grey. Of the three I prefer Midnight the most. I love the contrast of the navy/black with the lavender. The two tone blues on Alaskan are wonderful, flanked with a yellow, albeit a bit lighter than the stars of the Alaskan State flag. As I've mentioned, I'm a sucker for blue.

I got Alaskan Blue, Midnight and Anchor Grey. Of the three I prefer Midnight the most. I love the contrast of the navy/black with the lavender. Hmm. That’s a good example. I don’t know if I would say something really, unless it was someone I knew. Maybe if I saw someone wearing a colour I really enjoy and/or want I might comment?

Probably the Link bracelet Gold, even if its fake. haha. its difficult to find it on photos. Also the summer olympics un Rio, any of that collection. As well as Hermes bands, though it could be difficult to recognize if they are original or not, but I think I could.
Im still looking for the Hermès Etoupe single tour, discontinued one year ago, but it was on sale for 3 years since 2016, yet I dont find it new Does anyone have pic of it?

I just snapped up a slightly busted open one for half off, can def share when it comes! Don’t worry it’s 38mm or else I would have linked you as I’m pretty sure it was you who mentioned it before...the top leather looks smooth/new, should photo well!

it has a shimmer to it on the gold threads, it’s hard to capture on photos. You touch it and you expect gold glitter to come off lol

No idea! If a factory prototype... it's a bit flimsier than other colours. But that could also explain why it never got beyond the prototype stage (every colour feels slightly different... maybe they couldn't get brown right?)

Now that I’m working from home I change from the sport loop I wear running to a sport band before jumping in the pool after running before work in the morning. I try to cycle through my sport bands, though I also try to coordinate.

My guess is if it is a prototype, its an extremely early one. Notice how the lugs, while they match in color, don't quite look finished.

I suppose it could just as easily be a prototype fake... before they realised that the markings and matching lugs weren't going to add any value and they should go for the rock-bottom of the market 💸

Agreed. I am hereby taking a break from collecting, at least for a little while. The thrill of hunting is still there, but I don't need to be spending the money, especially because getting a package in the mail no longer excites me like it used to.

I feel similar (other than the Pride band I ordered again today in the hopes it will lock in). I want to spend some time enjoying the bands I currently have before I add more. I’m trying to wear each band I have at least once before I buy a new one. Does this mean I might be changing bands three times a day lol? Hopefully not - I will try not to cheat.
