Guys, who knows the Model number of the black sport band (42mm) with silver pin? It was on sale in 2015...
What am I looking at here? Is this the Chinese New Year band or a good knockoff?
I know this same seller has had large quantities of bands that looked legit in the past.

That is one of the better knockoffs if it is one. It has the "woven nylon' and '42mm' identifiers. The buckle looks correct. I wonder if the seller would show a pic of the lug which should say 'assembled in china'?
It is crazy because it is a color that I dont remember released in the US. So as you said, it would have to be something related to the Chinese New Year if it is authentic
It is a very strange band - it does say "Woven Nylon" (while the chinese new year said "Chicken New Year 2017" in chinese), and it does have silver buckle (chinese new year one had gold one). Otherwise it looks pretty similar...
Strange indeed. I have bought from this seller in the past and the bands have been authentic. So I would believe this band would be an official band. It is just odd that there is no record of Apple releasing this band
Chinese New Year 2017 band was a cancelled band (I have one in my possession - it's extremely weird band, so I'm not surprised they've cancelled it) - so probably this one was a pre- or post-chinese new year variant, which also was cancelled?
