I like the SS Gold looks stunning at first...

Personally I love the new gold stainless steel. And besides, it’s very subtle when you look at the watch as the front takes up more space.

I’m going to try on my old black Milanese loop and post pictures while I wait for the gold Milanese. I like that it’s not cheap gold - it looks sophisticated and very classy I think.
The stainless pin on the stone band that came with it looks more bronze then the actually watch but maybe it’s the light?

And love that it matches my new Max.

One thing to note. Horizontally fits perfect with older models but the top plastic is more contoured to new bodies. It has a slight bit of a forehead

I might not open my Blue Horizon when it gets here, wow it's so close! As for the gold SS AW.. I LOVE IT! It's not in your face bright gold like everyone has said, and good photos from Mackie. Love that ss gold!

Thank you iChernov for giving your honest review. I'm sorry you don't like your watch bud, but fortunately the S3 is still a fantastic watch and should keep you happy for another year or so.

SIDE NOTE RE GOLD: I rec'd my iPhone XS Max in gold alongside Blue Horizon. It's just like @iChernov said...and I don't like it. I do not think I will set up and activate it. This is also bad for my Watch (which was sent to my old address courtesy of an Apple Pay mess up, so I won't receive that today) and I may just return both. I don't know what to do then bc I don't want Space Gray for the Watch and I was never a fan of the silver one. Disappointed this time, in several ways.

No, Jason. I already exchanged my gold XS Max for a silver one. I'm almost done removing photos and saving my 8 Plus which I have to return to the Apple Store tomorrow. As for the watch, an Apple Pay snafu sent it to my old address and I have to get it from UPS on Monday morning -- that said, I also saw everything when I went to Apple earlier to exchange the phone. Since I don't like the silver or space gray aluminum cases, nor do I like the sapphire glass on the SS Watches, I'm going to return the S4 (and the new bands) after I get it from UPS. I suppose watch eBay in the near future...

Interesting. I don’t recall seeing any “S0 white band looks different to S3 white” posts. I do recall seeing them when Product Red changed. And of course gen 1 Blue vs gen 2 Blue.

Left to right: S0, S3, S4

There is a marked difference between S0 and S4 white band. Here are my two for comparison. There is a lot more of a grey tinge to the S4 band.

New black band and S3 black bands are different shades. Both bands pictured have never been worn. Sunlight picture.

I just completed the poll, and having more than nine bands puts me in a very small percentage. I just got the series 4 yesterday, and I’ve already reverted back to the stainless steel link bracelet that came with my original Apple Watch in 2015. It’s kind of scuffed up, but I think it gives it character. I also really really like the look of the stainless steel link bracelet.
