It feels awesome... now I don’t want to wear it.
I feel like it should be a shelf queen.

That’s the bands Apple did make for demo “Edition” watches for the in-store vitrine tables. That is stainless steel with SOMETHING on top, and I have no ideas what it is - either some metal, giving nice gold color, or gold-plating.

I tried the Seashell Sport Loop on once. It didn’t feel very comfortable, though I liked that it was more snug than the Sport Band. Perhaps it becomes more comfortable after wearing it for a while?

I also had aesthetic problems with how it doesn’t curve flush into the watch where the band meets the watch case, as other Apple bands do. Instead, the Sport Loop’s straps shoot straight into the watch at a sharp angle. Offputting.

The Sport Loop isn’t as durable as the Sport Band (at the same price) and requires more cleaning (putting it through the laundry on cold + air drying it) more often to keep it looking, smelling and feeling good.

The 3D renders I see on Apple’s site are, of course, amazing to look at and very tempting.
But what am I missing here? I see some people really like their Sport Loops, and more power to them.

ive got endless colors but always seem to default back to; red or white or hermes orange. i lust for the OEM blue sport band, the FIRST edition of it but can't come to grips paying the price.

I hear ya, I have my defaults too.

I regret not getting any blue sport bands in the sale that just took place. Really blew it!

My 2016 white sport came today (love it), as did Hermes white/rouge rallye.

Paired white sport with blue cobalt sport for alternative to indigo/craie leather.

Rallye will later show off.

Hopefully you will find the blue sport band original, it comes up on the UK eBay or amazon occasionally at a reasonable price. I have finally attached the adhesive black dot (from StickerTalk) over the red dot on my series 3 stainless steel watch! My blue, green, yellow, orange and violet shades were hardly being worn with that colour clash!

So, my statistics:
- denial
- anger
- bargaining
- depression
- acceptance - in progress...

In another words - today I've ordered gold series 4 watch second time. Will arrive mid November...
And really silver looks very simple, space black - depressingly dark, aluminum - just not beautiful.
No other options except bronze series 4... and white series 3 (my love).

And bands... Non of the leather classic buckle bands looks nice with non-silver steel watches. Seems like I'd have to get rid of all of them :(
