I totally agree 100%. We have a $600 Bose Wave Radio. My $300 iPod HiFi is about 2x louder, 2x clearer, has 3x more base, and literally half the price. For $600 you get a CD player, radio tuner with bad reception, and 1 aux input unless you have the base part of it which expands it to 3 aux inputs. Also with the wave radio, you can never read the clock at night . When it senses little light it makes the LCD dimmer, and impossible to read- you cannot turn this option on/off. Additionally there is no base control, or EQ settings what so ever. At least the HiFi has base booster and treble booster. The Wave Radio has too much base for AM stations making it sound horrible and not enough or too much for FM, CD, or Aux inputs.

I would recommend JBL creatures for a fraction of the price, or the harmon kardon soundsticks.

Nice display. Honestly, it wouldn't take more then a few hours to clean up the room. It needs a nice wall scrub, the desk needs about $7 in repairs, and you could re-do the sub for about $5. $12, it would be a clean setup. Esp w/ that sick display and exboxx
 
Bose did a lot of research and development about 20 years ago and had some of the best products for a long time. Now, everyone has caught up with them, and their competition is as good if not better, and also half the price. I despise Bose on a whole. Their iPod sound-dock is horrible, and pales in comparison to Apple's.

Yea I want to paint my walls and get a new desk. Its just so much stuff to move and I'm only 15 lol. And whats wrong with the sub? Its made for a car so thats probably why it doesn't look so great.

That sub is pretty rough... I can't imagine it sounds great either, but I could be wrong :)

Don't buy a new desk, just re-finish and varnish it. It'll look good as new. Wall painting is a bigger project, so I'm not sure if thats something you'd want to do with other stuff going on in your life.

I assume this desk is MDF with veneer glued on. That might be tough to "refinish"
 
Im taking advantage o fmy nine dollar monitor and my gramas old t.v.

And to the guy that said wheres the mac...

This doesn't say post your mac... Its says Post your setups...

And to the guy who said something about the speakers... I only put the center channel there because I cant sit it on top my tv or in front of it...
