Erik where did you get that desk from its really nice.

Staples. I think it was like $130 but I got it on sale for like $79 and then they messed up with the shipping and gave me a $20 gift certificate. It turned out to be a pretty good deal. Its obviously not as sturdy as a solid mahogany desk hand built 100 years ago but I must say its quite stable.

Really cool how there is a seperate feed for everyone under 18.
Nice idea...

I think it's really cool how there is a seperate feed for 18 and younger members in the forum.

Nice Idea!

I'm probably going to upgrade to a Macbook or a Macbook pro in a year or so. I also think i am going to paint my walls either an offwhite or a gray. Additionally, I am tired of that white carpet my parents put in my room when they built this house- I'd rather have hardwood. Right now I need to work on my cable management.
where'd you get ur desk at? i like it.

Staples. See my post up above. I think it only comes in a birch color now, not cherry.

This reminds me, I need to frame and put up my "50 years of land rover" poster.

Im 18. Got my macbook pro last sunday. So far I love it. The only thing now is to find a nice desk for it. Specs in sig.

BTW: This is my first mac :D

Im 18, running mbp 2ghz 1gb ram. got a 500gb lacie d2 drive on the way, and more ram to max it out up to 2gb. also on the look out for a second hand 20" apple cinema display. All paid for via my small ebay business.

edit - for anyone that cares, i also have a like new sony vx1000, with century optics death lens to film skateboarding with...

Would love to see some of your work, i dont skate any more but i know the effort is damn well worth it :)

Awesome thanks! Also do you use software encoders or hardware?

here is my latest setup- any comments appreciated

Mac Pro-2.66 configuration with aiport
Dell Inspirion 600 laptop
30GB 5G ipod
19 in Flat Panel

Palm Z22

Western Digital 120 GB HD
MyBook Pro 500GB

logitech S530 keyboard mouse combo

Do you notice any lag with the keyboard and mouse? What do you think of them vs the mighty mouse and apple pro keyboard?

Rate the MyBook Pro on a scale of 1-20. Pros? Cons? Does it run cool?

--Thanks

they are soo far and above them-they are sleekier, have more functionality, more customization options and and are simply better

the mybook pro is a 18- triple interface, good price, great speeds, sleek-only con i could even think of would be that it requires an external power adapter-if you want a long review macworld.com has one
