I have this issue too... and there doesn't seem to be a way to select which Apple TV will be the home hub. guess the only hack there is to update to newer apple TV's
I had this issue, and it was resolved by replacing our OG HomePod with the new one. Now, HomeKit works much better, and we have an additional HomePod for a nice AirPlay speaker. That said, can't say I'm a fan of Eve, at least based on my Aqua timer -- worst app I have.

I would never use the Eve app, but their products are the best for Matter / Thread. Now that you can set up their products directly in Apple Home and their firmware can be updated there too, I don't even need the Eve app.

You do know that all electrical outlets require neutral wires, right? Please tell me you've not been installing outlets with ground connected in the neutral. You're going to burn your house down.

And not having WiFi is a feature, not a bug.
Yes I know that, but maybe not everyone does. Just trying to give some extra info that wasn’t in the article. I didn’t say no WiFi was a bug but not everyone has thread networks available throughout their home.

This seems to be good product - EVE has been gaining ground through thread and matter support.
Would consider something like that in my vacation home.

I think their website is possibly misleading (I don't know what is accurate, I don't own the outlet or the plug, and the M.R. article states "Energy monitoring is supported in the Eve app"). Surprising hard to find reviews that goes over anything and everything available or not in the Home app for the plug for instance.

First this table leads me to believe the Home app should be able to give me Energy monitoring since it is checked as a separate line item compared to the listed out items (Built-in Schedules & Adjust status LED / Child lock) below "Advanced features w/ the Eve App". Identical table found for the plug.

Now compare this section:

To similar section for the plug (which exclusively states "FOR APPLE HOME USERS VIA EVE APP" whereas not stated for outlet):

Will the Eve energy outlet be available from the Apple Store? Does it normally take a while before new accessories make it there?
