Understood. I get to the screen on the iPhone that gives me the passcode, but the iPhone isn't shown on the desktop when I click "Add".

A few things that' i've read elsewhere in regards to syncs using bonjour (which ewallet is using).

If you have a more complicated network setup where your wireless network is on a different subnet than your desktop then it will not work unless you can get your admin to make special dns changes to support it.

also, make sure you disable your firewall if you're having problems. if using vista, try to disable UAC which is crap anyway.

lastly, if the above is not the cause, then uninstall and then reinstall bonjour. there have been several reports over at the ilium blogs where removing and then reinstalling bonjour fixed the problem for them.

Good luck!!!

I managed to recover the lost data, upgrade, and sync. It took a while. I restored the backup twice.

In chronological order:
1. Upgrade OTA = data lost
2. Restore backup
3. Upgrade the eWallet only on iTunes
4. Sync iPhone = error "app eWalled was not synced...." = app updated on the iPhone but data lost
5. Restore backup
6. Sync iPhone = (eWallet already updated in iTunes - step.3)

After this I had the old data with the new eWallet.

lost data

I just upgraded my ewallet in iphone and lost my data. I don't think a restore will help, has this issue been addressed by the development company?

this is what I did:

1) upgraded ewallet.
2) upgraded iphone firmware to 2.1 ( I did not realize I lost the data before doing this step)
3) tried to use ewallet and realized data is lost.

Now, I believe step 2 backed up the phone with the data already gone right?
