I've also debated getting back into the game, lvl 60 druid and quit about 5 months before BC came out. It's such a time suck though, I'm not sure if I want to get pulled back in. I have been aching for it lately though.

You should probably wait until the Wrath of The Lich King is released, though it most likely won't be released this year yet. Reading all the new class changes from Lich King Beta I am very excited about it! Especially paladins are getting a big overhaul. Changeable hair styles, all raids in 10- and 25-man versions, achievements, they're all new features instead of simply "more of the same". And there is more of the same too, in huge quantities. Almost makes me want to quit playing WoW for now and return when it's released, but I'm in a nice guild and I have fun raiding.

And yes the game has changed A LOT in three years, with every new patch there are some new features and class changes. Experiencing Outland is pretty fun but Northrend will be a lot better, especially storyline-wise. Players will meet Arthas and all. Outland was more of the Aldor/Scryers stuff.

I can guarantee you when that world comes along it will NOT be playable in OS X. Blizzard is the only thing that makes OS X even a semi-passable gaming platform. :/ I wish it wasnt like that but money and numbers speak louder then the cries of a few of us.

That's why I use a Windows capable Mac and/or a dedicated gaming PC for my strictly gaming needs. ;)

Long story short, I picked the game up, but I don't think it's for me anymore. It's lost quite a bit of the original appeal, IMO. Might try again when WoTLK comes out, but for now, I'll be holding off on that subscription.

Thanks all for the input.
