@TeaParty1776: You provided too little information for us to suggest a correct, simple, and short solution. We all have to wildly guess what kind of TV you have, what kind of ports available, etc.... and therefore too many info/suggestion for you, it may lead to confusion.

The best practice is: Take a picture of the back of your TV, focus on the place you are connecting the white adaptor to, and we will give you the link of what to buy, where to connect.

If you are lucky, your TV may be new and have enough ports to connect both the 2006 iMac and 2008 iMac at the same time. You just need to switch between the inputs on your remote.
So stop researching and doing the right thing: Take a picture of your TV and put it here. Will be much faster to get a correct answer.
