There is most def a market for the iPad on eBay, i know that a lot of people here in denmark (and same goes for a lot of european countries) are buying off of eBay since the iPad wont be here on april third.

I myself am looking to buy one from ebay.

hell yeah!

Get a second and sell it to me :) I'll throw in an additional $100 + Shipping for the 16gb wifi version :p

We need to wait til end of april for ours in the uk, PLUS we don't get books which sucks even more!!

I'll agree with the lot that ebay is a joke for sellers. I sold a blackberry a few months ago and got raped by the fees from ebay and paypal! I lost about 55 dollars off the price I sold it for, complete joke.

I couldn't imagine how much you would lose on an iPad that sold for more than retail price. I doubt it would even be profitable for the seller, in fact you would probably lose money.

I agree ebay is NOT the way to go u may make a few dollars selling to the uk / europe but enough to warrant the risks, i am sure you could find some one from europe on here to sell to with no fee's etc... but then again unless you know them probably more risky....

back in the PS3 rush i was lucky i bought two direct from japan sold em both and made a nice profit, ebay has changed now though......

Those of you all saying there will be no demand for reselling iPads, I beg to differ.

-Ipad is only releasing in the US on April 3rd, meaning there are several other countries (many of which have people with money to spend) left out. The hype will make them come out of their pockets to get one early. Remember back when people where buying soo many iphones here in the US to resell in China that they had to block it? Same deal thing will happen with iPad.

-I was just at the local Apple store and they said they received many, many reserves. So many that there may not be any available to people who waited for release day

-People want to play with the iPad before they buy. If production is limiited like I'm hearing, there won't be enough to supply those who waited.

-If there is a resale market for iPad, watch out. I guarantee everyone and their auntie (including 80% of macrumor members) will be buying two or three to flip so they can use the profits to get a "free" Ipad, further limiting the number of units available.

I got two on reserve. We'll see what happens

There will have to be a really severe shortage to double prices. Also, if this point above is really true, then that will work against the resale market because eBay will be flooded.

Here in the UK, the 64Gb seems to be on Buy it Now auctions for around the £650+ delivery mark wi-fi only models....

I want one, but not that much!! Really want the 32Gb with 3G but going to have to wait until it's released here in the UK

go to ebay.co.uk. i just saw a 64 gb wifi+3g for $1100. looks like theres gonna be some pretty good money to be made. i think the wifi only model was like $950 with about a day left.

I'm keeping an eye on this forum and my 2 eBay auctions for 64GB iPads. Judging from where the bids are, I'm going to make a lil bit on these. I'll be happy.

Good luck. Hasan Forezabritz is 3 of your watchers. You know. The one that asked if you could end your auction early for $200.00 and ship it to the Ukraine.

"The Ukraine is very weak..... I think Im going to put a hurt on the Ukraine".
