When ever I lock the phone, and immediately wanting to just turn the screen back on, it takes much longer than usual. Anybody experience the same issue?
I have a video here:
Yes. It happened to me. I reset all settings, which fixed the problem, but then I restored because I liked all my settings. Then I found the culprit: email notifications. This is Apple's own software that caused the problem.
Go to Notifications
Turn off Email notifications
The lag goes away
Toggle it back on and the lag returns
I use gmail anyway. As long as I leave the gmail app running I get notifications of all emails.
Apple needs to fix this bug!!!!!

That just fixed the issue with my new iPhone 7 Plus, thanks! I was having issues clearing notifications for email as well, was thinking these two were related.

MY phone is finally back to normal after updating to 10.1. Thank goodness, it was a horrible month and more for me.
