Face Recognition ID on the iPad Pro in 2018 ?

please no faceID to iPads. in fact, i think that faceID won't be that amazing as apple think it is.
The idea of home button was simple. Press the button and it takes you home whenever you are.
Even now I don't like how it works that you still ahve to slide up. Sliding up is definitely not the move that I wanna be doing all the time I pick up the phone and certainly not with an iPad.

No need to be like this. Even Apple said that the market will decide which is always the case. Samsung often gives a lot of things that turn out to be a gimmick and doesn't get mass adoption. Apple's approach is different but I still don't like the idea so if there is enough people like me then faceID may not get mass adoption.
Sometimes a great idea is not the most practical one and in this case I just don't like the practicality of it. Yes, eventually, some form of faceID will happen but I hope it won't be like this. Lets see what the market decides.
I don't need to run a company. Even the most successful one has produced missteps (even Apple) so no need for your remark

So what you are saying is, perhaps for next year (2018) it may not be there but eventually it will do come on the iPad ?

I would rather the iPad have the same home button the 7 and 8 has that does not move. The iPad will always have bezels big enough for a home button.

BUT, knowing Apple they will likely take what works great and do something else.
