Hey once you have the pop out chat from facebook lite if you remove the "lite=true" from the end of the URL it will give you the normal high res pop out chat.

Excellent that worked perfectly! Deleted aim app for now. Easier to switch between browsers then it is to drop out of safari to check for messages.
Glad it worked! I am so happy to have some form of facebook chat back in Safari. I was so excited when I noticed in all the iPad videos that the little chat bar was at the bottom of the facebook windows, and that was actually one of the convincing factors for my purchase of an iPad.
Oh and just to be safe I saved the link on my home screen haha.

I have been trying so hard to figure this one out. But as you have all stated, looks like we will have to just wait.. I'm just happy to finally know it wasn't something I did and that facebook must have taken it down.. I REALLY hope they get it back up... Sooon.
