If it means anything, Facebook just had an update. I downgraded to 9.3.2 due to issues I was having, but maybe this update fixed it.
Blarg. I wish they would put a changelog in their updates.Latest update didn't address any of the beta crashes.
Unfortunately, Facebook is one of the worst companies when it comes to updating their apps. There's no Facebook watch app. Instagram has no iPad version. And nothing works in landscape mode.
So when it comes to an update to serve a very small group of beta testers then I really don't think we'll be getting one soon. (Or at least, if it gets fixed it probably won't be on purpose).
If there's something iOS 10 related that might be behind the crashes there's nothing Facebook can really do about it until iOS 10 is actually released.Latest update didn't address any of the beta crashes.

Sure there is.If there's something iOS 10 related that might be behind the crashes there's nothing Facebook can really do about it until iOS 10 is actually released.
Again, as you can see in my reply, if it's something related to iOS 10 in particular that might be behind it then there's a good chance they might not be able to address it until Apple allows developers to check in and release things related to iOS 10. Perhaps there might be a workaround of some sort which might or might not be too much hassle to implement and/or come at the expense of something else which might be a good idea to do just to support something that isn't out yet. If it's not related to that or can be done without things that Apple won't accept/approve, then sure, there's likely something for them to take a look at and figure out.Sure there is.
While nobody has pinpointed the problem yet, it does seem that it's directly related to content. For most people then the feed would load but as you scroll then there will be "something" (video? ad? GIF?) that just stalls the app.
I'm not saying FB should put the users of an alpha developer build of an OS as a priority. I'm just saying that IF they wanted to fix it then I'm sure they can.
If it doesn't involve changing something that is related to iOS 10. If it's some change in existing code/framework that doesn't involve iOS 10 but somehow makes things work better or fixes how something works in iOS 10, sure, but that doesn't always apply. For what it's worth I've seen app updates that specify in the release notes they've fixed an issue with iOS 10. So Facebook could easily include a fix for those of us running the beta if they wanted to.
Newest update 06/24/16 fixed my crashing and freezing.
Not mine. Crashed as I was scrolling.Newest update 06/24/16 fixed my crashing and freezing.

Purely coincidence you've had better luck since the Facebook update. It's been the complete opposite for me. I've been able to use the Facebook app since hour one of iOS 10 beta 1 release (which is getting close to 2 full weeks.) With just the occasional crash to Homescreen while scrolling.
Today, updated the app and haven't been able to even log in since. Keeps freezing or crashing to Home screen instantly.
A very known issue with iOS 10 beta 1 and quite common.
It's very intermittent. Some days it's fine, others it crashes a lot. Might get resolved with a beta 2, but also might require Facebook needing to update.
